Product Overview
The dual MPPT design allows two independent solar string inputs to be connected to the inverter simultaneously. The kit includes enough panels for one MPPT input at 4.3kW, and a second PV string of up to 4kW can be added at any time without replacing any hardware.
The AGM/GEL battery bank uses sealed valve-regulated lead-acid technology, which is maintenance-free and does not require electrolyte checking or topping up. The battery bank is expandable by adding an identical set of 8 batteries. Batteries are supplied filled and charged.
Off-grid solar systems of this type do not require a G98 or G99 notification to the DNO, as there is no grid export. This simplifies installation approval compared to grid-tied systems, though all electrical work must still comply with IET Wiring Regulations and be carried out by a qualified electrician.
The mounting structure included is an adjustable triangle bracket suitable for flat surface and ground installations at 30 degrees. Alternative mounting arrangements are available at no extra cost — contact us before ordering if a different mounting type is required.
