Description
xWall Mounted Enclosure for Color Control GX and BMV or MPPT
This wall mounted enclosure is designed to house a Victron Color Control GX alongside a BMV battery monitor or MPPT solar charge controller. It provides a clean, fixed installation point for monitoring equipment in battery rooms, plant rooms, off-grid cabins and marine or vehicle applications where a permanent display location is required.
Key Features
- Designed specifically to fit the Victron Color Control GX combined with a BMV battery monitor or MPPT charge controller.
- Wall mountable for a fixed, permanent installation in any suitable location.
- Keeps monitoring hardware organised and protected in a single enclosure.
- Lightweight at 0.33 kg, making it straightforward to mount on most wall surfaces.
- Compatible with Victron's standard monitoring product dimensions, ensuring a secure fit without modification.
Product Overview
The enclosure is purpose-built for Victron's Color Control GX, which is a central monitoring and control unit used in Victron Energy systems. Rather than leaving the Color Control GX and an associated BMV or MPPT unit loose or panel-mounted in an ad hoc arrangement, this enclosure provides a dedicated housing that keeps both devices together in a tidy, wall-fixed installation.
For installers fitting out battery storage rooms, off-grid plant rooms or live-aboard vessels, having monitoring equipment mounted at a fixed, readable height is a practical requirement. This enclosure addresses that directly by providing a ready-made solution that accepts the standard Victron form factors without cutting or fabrication work.
