Description
xVictron VE.Direct Cable 10m
The Victron VE.Direct Cable (10m) connects VE.Direct-compatible devices to each other or to a monitoring interface, enabling data communication across a longer cable run. It is suited to installations where components are mounted at a distance from each other, such as a solar charge controller in a battery compartment and a display or monitoring device in a control panel.
Key Features
- 10-metre cable length provides flexibility for installations where components are spread across a larger space.
- Uses the VE.Direct communication protocol, compatible with Victron MPPT solar charge controllers, BMV battery monitors, Phoenix inverters and other VE.Direct-equipped devices.
- Connects to VE.Direct ports for data transfer, enabling remote monitoring and configuration via compatible interfaces.
- Lightweight construction at 0.325 kg, suitable for permanent installation in vehicles, vessels and fixed off-grid systems.
- SKU ASS030530310, GTIN 8719076019640, supplied as a single cable ready for use.
Product Overview
VE.Direct is Victron's point-to-point serial communication interface, used across a wide range of their product line. The cable carries data between devices such as MPPT charge controllers and the VE.Direct to USB interface, the Color Control GX, GlobalLink 520, or a dedicated display like the MPPT Control. Without a cable of sufficient length, routing through bulkheads, conduit or cabinetry can be difficult. The 10m version addresses installations where a shorter cable would not reach.
The cable is passive: it carries no power and requires no configuration. It simply needs to be plugged into the VE.Direct ports on both devices. One cable supports one device connection. If multiple devices need to be monitored from a single GX device, a separate cable is required for each.

Installation Notes
This cable carries data only and does not require any electrical installation qualification to fit. Ensure both devices have an available VE.Direct port before ordering. The VE.Direct interface is point-to-point, so each connected device requires its own dedicated cable. Route the cable away from high-current DC wiring where possible to avoid interference.
