Description
xVE.Direct Cable 1.8m (One Side Right Angle Connector)
A 1.8m VE.Direct cable for connecting Victron Energy devices that use the VE.Direct communication protocol. One end features a right angle connector, making it suitable for installations where space is restricted or cable routing requires a low-profile exit from the device port.
Key Features
- 1.8m cable length provides flexibility for most panel, inverter and battery monitor installations.
- One right angle connector allows neat cable routing in confined enclosures or tight mounting positions.
- One straight connector on the opposite end for standard port access.
- Compatible with all Victron devices featuring a VE.Direct port, including BMV battery monitors, SmartSolar MPPT charge controllers, and Phoenix inverters.
- Lightweight at 45g, adding minimal bulk to an installation.
- SKU: ASS030531218 | GTIN: 8719076019671
Product Overview
VE.Direct is Victron's point-to-point communication interface, used to pass data between compatible devices and monitoring equipment such as the Color Control GX, Cerbo GX, or a PC running VictronConnect. This cable carries that data link over a 1.8m run, which suits most standard enclosure and wall-mount configurations without excess slack.
The right angle connector on one end reduces the strain on the port in installations where the cable must exit horizontally or where a straight plug would foul against a panel, wall or adjacent component. This is a practical consideration in compact battery enclosures, van conversions, and marine installations where cable management matters.

Installation Notes
Ensure both devices are powered down before connecting or disconnecting VE.Direct cables. The right angle connector should be oriented to match the cable exit direction required by your installation. VE.Direct is a data-only interface and carries no power to connected devices. No specialist electrical qualification is required to fit this cable, though all associated electrical work on solar, battery and inverter systems should be carried out by a qualified installer.
