Description
xVictron SmartSolar MPPT 75/10 Charge Controller
The Victron SmartSolar MPPT 75/10 is a solar charge controller designed for small 12V and 24V off-grid systems. It suits installations where panel voltage does not exceed 75V open circuit and charge current does not exceed 10A. Built-in Bluetooth makes it accessible without additional hardware, which is useful for mobile, marine and compact off-grid applications.
Key Features
- Maximum PV open circuit voltage of 75V, with a maximum charge current of 10A.
- Built-in Bluetooth connectivity allows direct configuration and monitoring via the VictronConnect app on iOS and Android, with no additional dongle required.
- True MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) algorithm extracts maximum available power from the connected solar array under varying light and temperature conditions.
- Compatible with 12V and 24V battery systems, with automatic voltage detection.
- Supports lithium (LiFePO4), AGM, gel, flooded and other lead-acid battery chemistries with configurable charge profiles.
- Load output with street lighting and timer functions allows direct connection of DC loads with programmable on/off control.
- Compact and lightweight at 0.36kg, suitable for installation in confined spaces on boats, campervans and small off-grid cabins.
Product Overview
The SmartSolar MPPT 75/10 uses a true MPPT algorithm, which continuously tracks the maximum power point of the solar array. This is particularly relevant in partial shading or during morning and evening periods when irradiance is low, as MPPT controllers recover more usable energy than PWM alternatives. At this power class, the difference is meaningful for small battery banks that depend on consistent daily charging.
Bluetooth is integrated directly into the unit, so there is no need for a separate VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart dongle. The VictronConnect app provides access to real-time data, historical yield logs, and full configuration of charge parameters. For installers commissioning multiple small systems, this removes a step and reduces the component count per installation.
The load output supports programmable street lighting functions, including dusk-to-dawn operation and adjustable on/off timers. This makes the 75/10 a practical choice for small lighting circuits, gate controllers and similar low-power DC loads that need automated switching without a separate timer relay.

Installation Notes
Installation should be carried out by a competent electrician or qualified solar installer. Ensure PV open circuit voltage does not exceed 75V under any conditions, including cold temperatures, which raise Voc. Verify battery chemistry and set the appropriate charge profile via VictronConnect before commissioning. For systems connected to a vessel or vehicle, follow the relevant wiring standards for the application. This unit is not intended for grid-connected use.
