Description
xVictron Shore Power Cord 25m 16A/250Vac (3x2.5mm²)
This Victron shore power cord provides a 25-metre connection between a marina shore power pedestal and a vessel's onboard AC inlet. Rated at 16A/250Vac with a 3x2.5mm² conductor cross-section, it is suited to leisure craft, canal boats and liveaboards requiring a reliable mains power feed at berth.
Key Features
- 25-metre cable length provides reach from shore pedestal to vessel without extension leads.
- Rated 16A at 250Vac, compatible with standard European and UK marina shore power pedestals.
- 3x2.5mm² conductor cross-section supports the full 16A rated current with minimal voltage drop over the cable length.
- Manufactured by Victron Energy, designed for use with Victron shore power inlets and connectors.
- Cable weight of 3.85kg reflects a robust, full-length assembly ready for immediate use.
- GTIN: 8719076007524, SKU: SHP302502500 for straightforward ordering and stock management.
Product Overview
Shore power cords carry mains AC power from a marina or harbour pedestal to the vessel's shore power inlet. The 25-metre length is a practical choice for berths where the pedestal is not immediately adjacent to the boat's connection point, or where the vessel is moored bow-in with the inlet at the stern. Using a single, correctly rated cord rather than joining shorter leads avoids additional connection points and the associated risk of voltage drop or connector heating under load.
The 3x2.5mm² conductor sizing is appropriate for continuous 16A service. At 25 metres, a smaller conductor would produce a measurable voltage drop that could affect sensitive onboard equipment such as battery chargers and inverter-chargers. The 2.5mm² cross-section keeps resistive losses within acceptable limits across the full cable run. This cord is intended for use with Victron shore power inlets and is compatible with standard IEC 60309 (CEE) 16A blue connectors commonly found on European marina pedestals.

Installation Notes
Connection of shore power cords to a vessel's AC inlet and onboard electrical system should be carried out by a qualified marine electrician familiar with the relevant standards (BS EN ISO 13297 for small craft electrical systems). Ensure the shore pedestal circuit breaker rating is compatible with the 16A cord rating before connecting. Inspect the cord, connectors and inlet for damage before each use. Do not use the cord if the outer sheath, connectors or locking collar show signs of wear, cracking or water ingress.
