Description
xVictron Energy RJ45 UTP Cable 20 m
The Victron Energy RJ45 UTP Cable is a 20-metre unshielded twisted pair cable used to connect compatible Victron devices over a local communications network. It is suited to professional solar and off-grid installations where reliable data communication between components is required.
Key Features
- 20-metre length provides flexibility for installations where devices are spread across a larger area.
- Standard RJ45 connectors at both ends for straightforward plug-and-play connection between Victron devices.
- UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) construction suitable for low-voltage data communication in typical indoor installation environments.
- Compatible with Victron products that use RJ45 ports for VE.Bus, VE.Can or similar communication interfaces.
- Genuine Victron Energy accessory, manufactured to work with the broader Victron ecosystem.
- Lightweight at 0.75 kg, making it easy to route and manage during installation.
Product Overview
Many Victron Energy inverters, chargers, battery monitors and system components communicate via RJ45 ports using protocols such as VE.Bus or VE.Can. This 20-metre cable allows those devices to be connected where shorter patch cables would not reach, without requiring additional extenders or adapters.
The UTP construction uses twisted pairs to reduce crosstalk and signal interference over the cable run. At 20 metres, this cable is well within the operating range for Victron's communication protocols, making it a practical choice for larger battery rooms, plant rooms or installations where the inverter and control panel are not in close proximity.

Installation Notes
This cable carries data signals only and does not transmit mains or battery power. Route it away from high-current DC cables and mains AC wiring where possible to minimise interference. Verify which RJ45 port and protocol your specific Victron devices use before connecting. For full system commissioning, a qualified installer familiar with Victron equipment is recommended.
