Description
xVictron Energy RJ45 UTP Cable 10 m
The Victron Energy RJ45 UTP Cable is a 10-metre unshielded twisted pair cable used to connect compatible Victron devices over a standard RJ45 interface. It is suited to installers wiring up Victron communication networks where a longer cable run is required between components.
Key Features
- 10-metre length provides flexibility for installations where devices are not in close proximity.
- Standard RJ45 connectors at both ends, compatible with Victron's VE.Bus, VE.Net and other RJ45-based communication ports.
- UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) construction suitable for low-voltage data communication between Victron components.
- Plug-and-play connection with no additional tools or crimping required.
- Lightweight at 0.36 kg, easy to route and manage within an installation enclosure or across a panel.
Product Overview
This cable is used to link Victron Energy devices that communicate via RJ45 ports, such as Multi and Quattro inverter/chargers connected to a Color Control GX, CCGX, or other GX devices, as well as VE.Bus system components. The 10-metre length is the longest standard option in Victron's UTP cable range, making it appropriate where equipment is spread across a larger installation space.
UTP cabling carries data signals rather than power, so the cable does not need to be rated for high current. The twisted pair construction helps reduce signal interference over the cable run. For most Victron communication applications, this cable is a direct replacement or extension option where shorter cables are insufficient.

Installation Notes
This cable carries data signals only and should be connected to the correct RJ45 communication ports on compatible Victron devices. Verify port compatibility before installation, as RJ45 ports on Victron equipment are not all interchangeable. For full system wiring, including inverter, battery and grid connections, installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician familiar with Victron Energy systems.
