xVictron Energy RJ12 UTP Cable 30 m
The Victron Energy RJ12 UTP Cable is a 30-metre communication cable used to connect compatible Victron devices over a serial data link. It is suited to professional installations where components are mounted at a distance from one another and a reliable, low-noise data connection is required.
Key Features
- 30-metre length provides flexibility for installations where devices are spread across a plant room, battery bank or control area.
- RJ12 connectors at each end for direct plug-in connection to compatible Victron Energy devices.
- UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) construction reduces signal interference across the cable run.
- Genuine Victron Energy accessory, manufactured to match the communication interface specifications of supported products.
- SKU ASS030066301, GTIN 8719076071594 for straightforward procurement and stock management.
- Weighs 0.645 kg, making it easy to handle and route during installation.
Product Overview
RJ12 is a 6-position, 6-contact (6P6C) connector format used by Victron Energy for serial communication between devices such as battery monitors, inverter/chargers, and panel displays. This 30-metre cable allows those devices to be installed at a practical distance from each other without requiring additional signal repeaters or custom wiring.
The UTP construction uses twisted wire pairs to reduce crosstalk and electromagnetic interference, which is particularly relevant in battery rooms or plant areas where inverters and chargers generate electrical noise. Using the correct Victron-supplied cable ensures the connector pinout and cable impedance are matched to the device specifications, avoiding communication errors that can arise from generic substitutes.
