Description
xVictron Energy RJ12 UTP Cable 1.8 m
The Victron Energy RJ12 UTP Cable is a 1.8 metre communication cable used to connect compatible Victron devices via RJ12 ports. It is suited to installers and system integrators who need a reliable data link between Victron components in a battery monitoring or energy management setup.
Key Features
- 1.8 metre cable length, providing practical reach between adjacent Victron devices.
- RJ12 connectors at both ends for direct plug-in connection to compatible Victron equipment.
- UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) construction for low-noise data communication.
- Lightweight at 44 g, adding minimal bulk to any installation.
- Genuine Victron Energy accessory, manufactured to match Victron device port specifications.
Product Overview
RJ12 is a 6-position, 6-contact (6P6C) connector format commonly used by Victron Energy for communication between devices such as battery monitors, panel displays and other system components. The UTP construction uses twisted wire pairs to reduce interference over the cable run, which matters in installations where power cables run nearby.
At 1.8 metres, this cable suits installations where the connected devices are mounted in close proximity, such as within the same enclosure or on adjacent panels. It is a direct replacement or spare for installations that require an additional or substitute communication link between Victron devices.
