Description
xVictron Energy RJ12 UTP Cable 0.9 m
The Victron Energy RJ12 UTP Cable is a 0.9 m data cable used to connect compatible Victron devices via RJ12 interface. It is suited to installers and system integrators wiring up Victron battery monitors, inverter/chargers and other equipment that communicate over RJ12 connections.
Key Features
- RJ12 connectors on both ends for direct device-to-device data connections.
- UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) construction suitable for low-voltage data communication.
- 0.9 m cable length provides a practical reach for panel-mounted or cabinet-installed equipment.
- Lightweight at 0.025 kg, adding negligible weight to any installation.
- Genuine Victron Energy accessory, manufactured to match Victron device specifications.
Product Overview
RJ12 is a 6-position, 6-contact (6P6C) connector format used across a range of Victron Energy products for data and communication wiring. This cable provides a ready-made, correctly terminated connection between devices without the need for field-crimping or custom assembly.
The UTP construction uses twisted pairs to reduce interference on data lines, which is relevant in electrical enclosures where other cabling may introduce noise. At 0.9 m, this cable suits installations where devices are mounted in close proximity, such as within a single enclosure or on an adjacent wall panel.

Installation Notes
This cable carries data signals only and does not conduct mains or high-voltage power. It should be routed away from high-current DC cables where possible to minimise interference. Verify that both connected devices use the RJ12 (6P6C) interface before fitting. For full system installations involving inverters, battery banks or grid connections, use a qualified electrician or MCS-accredited installer.
