Description
xVictron Orion IP67 24/12-10A (120W) Non-Isolated DC-DC Converter
The Victron Orion IP67 24/12-10A is a non-isolated DC-DC converter designed to step down a 24V DC supply to a regulated 12V DC output at up to 10A (120W). It is built for use in vehicles, marine installations and off-grid systems where a 24V main supply needs to feed 12V accessories or equipment reliably in demanding environments.
Key Features
- Input voltage range suitable for 24V DC systems, with output regulated to 12V at up to 10A continuous.
- IP67 rated enclosure provides full dust ingress protection and resistance to temporary water immersion, making it suitable for exposed or wet locations.
- Non-isolated design delivers efficient voltage conversion without galvanic isolation between input and output.
- Compact and lightweight at 0.4kg, allowing installation in tight spaces within vehicles, caravans, boats or battery enclosures.
- 120W continuous output capacity covers a wide range of 12V loads including lighting, instrumentation, control circuits and small appliances.
- Victron Orion range is designed for long-term, unattended operation in fixed installations.
Product Overview
The Orion IP67 24/12-10A converts a 24V battery or bus voltage down to a stable 12V output. This is a non-isolated converter, meaning the input and output share a common ground reference. This is acceptable in most single-vehicle or single-battery-bank installations, but it is important to confirm that galvanic isolation is not required for your specific application before installation.
The IP67 rating sets this unit apart from standard panel-mount converters. It can be installed in engine bays, under-floor compartments, bilges or other locations where moisture, condensation or occasional water exposure is a concern. The sealed enclosure also protects against dust and particulate ingress, which is relevant in agricultural, construction or industrial mobile applications.
At 120W continuous output, this converter is well suited to powering 12V auxiliary circuits from a 24V main system. Common scenarios include running 12V lighting, USB charging hubs, control electronics or communication equipment from a 24V truck, coach or marine electrical system.

Installation Notes
This is a non-isolated converter: input and output share a common ground. Verify this is compatible with your system before installation, particularly in multi-battery or multi-vehicle configurations where ground loops could cause issues. Ensure input wiring is correctly fused close to the source battery or busbar. Installation in marine or automotive electrical systems should be carried out by a qualified electrician or auto-electrician familiar with DC systems. Follow all applicable wiring regulations for the installation environment.
