Description
xVictron MPPT WireBox-S 100-20
The Victron MPPT WireBox-S 100-20 is a protective wiring enclosure designed for use with the Victron SmartSolar and BlueSolar MPPT 100/20 solar charge controllers. It covers the electrical connections on the charge controller, reducing the risk of accidental contact and helping to meet installation safety requirements in professional and domestic settings.
Key Features
- Designed specifically for the Victron MPPT 100/20 charge controller series, ensuring a precise, secure fit.
- Covers all wiring terminals on the charge controller to protect against accidental contact with live connections.
- Compact and lightweight at 0.15 kg, adding minimal bulk to the installed unit.
- Manufactured by Victron Energy to integrate cleanly with the existing controller housing.
- Supports a tidier, more professional installation finish in panels, enclosures and off-grid setups.
Product Overview
The WireBox-S is a simple but practical accessory for any installation using the Victron MPPT 100/20 charge controller. Once the controller is wired and commissioned, the WireBox clips over the terminal area to enclose the connections. This reduces the likelihood of accidental short circuits, protects against dust and incidental contact, and gives the installation a cleaner appearance.
For professional installers working in environments where exposed terminals are a concern, such as accessible plant rooms, caravans, boats or off-grid cabins, the WireBox provides a straightforward means of improving safety without modifying the controller itself. It is a Victron OEM accessory, so fit and finish are consistent with the original product.

Installation Notes
The WireBox-S should be fitted after all wiring to the MPPT 100/20 controller is complete and verified. Ensure the controller is correctly commissioned before fitting the cover. While this accessory does not itself require specialist installation, the underlying solar charge controller wiring should be carried out by a competent electrician or qualified solar installer, particularly where the system forms part of a larger solar PV installation.
