Description
xM8 Eyelet Connector with 30A ATO Fuse
The Victron M8 eyelet connector with 30A ATO fuse is a direct-connect accessory for Blue Power IP65 chargers. It provides a secure, fused battery terminal connection using a standard M8 bolt fixing, replacing the need for crocodile clips or loose cable ends when a permanent or semi-permanent charger installation is preferred.
Key Features
- M8 eyelet terminal for direct bolted connection to battery terminals or busbars.
- Integrated 30A ATO blade fuse provides overcurrent protection on the output lead.
- Designed specifically as an accessory for Victron Blue Power IP65 chargers.
- Compact and lightweight at 70g, suitable for tight battery compartments.
- ATO fuse format is widely available for straightforward field replacement.
Product Overview
This connector replaces the standard crocodile clip leads supplied with Blue Power IP65 chargers. The M8 eyelet bolts directly onto a battery terminal stud or busbar, giving a fixed, low-resistance connection that is more suitable for installations where the charger is left connected for extended periods, such as in vehicles, boats or static battery banks.
The 30A ATO fuse is integrated into the lead and protects the wiring in the event of a fault. ATO blade fuses are a standard automotive format, so replacement fuses are readily available. The fuse rating is matched to the current capacity of the Blue Power IP65 charger range, so no additional inline fusing is required on the output side when using this connector.
