Description
xVictron Energy Inverting Remote On-Off Cable
The Victron Energy inverting remote on-off cable allows compatible Victron inverters and inverter/chargers to be controlled remotely by reversing the on-off logic signal. It is designed for installations where the control signal polarity needs to be inverted, giving installers flexibility when integrating Victron equipment with external control systems or switches.
Key Features
- Inverts the remote on-off logic signal, enabling control from systems with opposite polarity output.
- Designed specifically for use with compatible Victron Energy inverters and inverter/charger units.
- Compact and lightweight at 11 g, with no additional hardware required for installation.
- Plug-and-play connection to the remote on-off port on supported Victron devices.
- SKU: ASS030550120 | GTIN: 8719076036470.
Product Overview
Some external control systems, automation relays or switches output a signal polarity that is the inverse of what Victron's remote on-off input expects. Without this cable, the device would behave in the opposite way to what is intended: switching off when it should be on, and vice versa. This cable corrects that by inverting the signal before it reaches the Victron unit.
The cable connects directly to the remote on-off terminal on compatible Victron inverters and inverter/chargers. It requires no additional components and adds no measurable complexity to the installation. For installers working with building management systems, generator controllers or third-party automation equipment, this cable resolves polarity mismatches without modifying the control system itself.
Specifications
- SKU: ASS030550120
- GTIN: 8719076036470
- Weight: 0.011 kg (11 g)
- Compatible with: Victron Energy inverters and inverter/chargers with a remote on-off port
Applications
- Integrating Victron inverters with third-party automation or building management systems that output an inverted control signal.
- Connecting Victron inverter/chargers to generator controllers with opposite polarity on-off outputs.
- Off-grid and marine installations where external switching logic does not match Victron's default remote on-off behaviour.
- Retrofit installations where the existing control wiring cannot be easily modified.
What Is Included
- 1 x Victron Energy inverting remote on-off cable (ASS030550120)
Installation Notes
This cable should be installed by a qualified electrician or experienced Victron installer. Verify compatibility with your specific Victron inverter or inverter/charger model before installation. Ensure the remote on-off port on the connected device is rated for the control signal being applied. For inverter/charger installations connected to the grid, all work must comply with current UK wiring regulations and any applicable G98 or G99 requirements.
