Description
xVictron Inverter 24/375 230V VE.Direct SCHUKO
The Victron Inverter 24/375 is a compact 24V DC to 230V AC sine wave inverter with a SCHUKO output socket and VE.Direct communication port. It is suited to small off-grid installations, vehicles, boats and backup power applications where a reliable 230V AC supply is needed from a 24V battery bank.
Key Features
- 375VA continuous output power from a 24V DC input, with a 700W peak surge capacity for motor starting loads.
- Pure sine wave output at 230V / 50Hz, compatible with sensitive electronics and appliances.
- VE.Direct communication port for monitoring and configuration via Victron's GX devices or the VictronConnect app over USB.
- SCHUKO (Type F) output socket for direct connection of standard European plugs without an adapter.
- Built-in protections covering low battery shutdown, high battery shutdown, overload and over-temperature.
- Compact and lightweight design at 3.25 kg, suitable for installation in confined spaces.
- LED indicator for power, inverting and fault status at a glance.
Product Overview
The 24/375 sits at the smaller end of Victron's VE.Direct inverter range. It converts 24V battery power to a clean 230V AC sine wave output, making it appropriate for powering lighting, small appliances, chargers and electronic equipment in off-grid or mobile installations. The 375VA continuous rating is honest: this unit is not intended for high-draw loads such as kettles or power tools, but it handles the kind of modest loads common in campervans, narrowboats and small cabin setups without issue.
The VE.Direct port is a key practical feature. It allows the inverter to be monitored in real time through a Victron GX device (such as a Cerbo GX) or connected directly to a PC or phone via a VE.Direct to USB cable and the VictronConnect app. This gives installers access to live data, historical logs and configuration settings without needing to open the unit. For standalone installations without a GX device, the three LED indicators on the front panel provide basic status information.
Protection thresholds are managed automatically. The inverter will shut down on low battery voltage to prevent deep discharge damage, on high battery voltage to protect against overcharging conditions, and on overload or over-temperature. These protections reset automatically once the fault condition clears, which reduces the need for manual intervention in unattended installations.

Installation Notes
This inverter must be connected to a 24V DC battery bank using appropriately rated DC cabling and fusing. DC connections should be kept as short as possible to minimise voltage drop and heat. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician or competent person familiar with DC and AC electrical systems. The unit is not suitable for grid-connected or grid-parallel operation. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit to prevent thermal shutdown under sustained load.
