Description
xVictron Inverter 24/3000 230V VE.Bus
The Victron Inverter 24/3000 230V is a pure sine wave inverter designed for off-grid and backup power applications. It converts 24V DC battery power to 230V AC at 3000VA continuous output, making it suitable for professional installations in marine, vehicle, telecom and off-grid energy systems. VE.Bus connectivity allows integration with Victron system components and remote monitoring.
Key Features
- 3000VA continuous output at 230V AC from a 24V DC battery bank.
- Pure sine wave output suitable for sensitive electronics and motor loads.
- VE.Bus interface for system integration, parallel operation and remote configuration via Victron GX devices.
- Supports parallel and three-phase configuration with additional compatible Victron inverters.
- Programmable relay for generator start, alarm or load-shedding functions.
- Built-in battery protection with low voltage shutdown, temperature compensation and overload protection.
- Compatible with Victron VE.Configure software for advanced parameter adjustment.
Product Overview
The 24/3000 sits in the mid-range of Victron's inverter line, offering a 3000VA output from a 24V battery system. The VE.Bus communication port is the key differentiator from simpler inverter models. It allows the unit to be networked with Victron Quattro or MultiPlus units, stacked in parallel for higher output capacity, or configured in a three-phase arrangement. For installers building scalable off-grid or backup systems, this flexibility reduces the need to oversize a single unit at the outset.
Pure sine wave output means the inverter is compatible with inductive loads such as motors, pumps and compressors, as well as sensitive electronics that would be damaged or disrupted by modified sine wave power. The unit includes comprehensive battery management features: low voltage disconnect protects the battery bank from deep discharge, and temperature-compensated voltage thresholds improve accuracy across varying ambient conditions.
VE.Bus also enables remote monitoring and control through Victron's GX device ecosystem, including the Cerbo GX and Color Control GX. System data can be viewed and managed via the VRM online portal, which is relevant for remote installations where on-site intervention is not practical.

Installation Notes
This inverter operates at high DC currents from a 24V battery bank and must be installed by a qualified electrician or experienced system integrator. Correct cable sizing, fusing and battery connection torque are critical for safe operation. VE.Bus configuration requires Victron VE.Configure software and a suitable interface cable or MK3-USB adapter. For any grid-connected or generator-integrated application, ensure compliance with current UK wiring regulations and consult a qualified installer. This unit is not a grid-tied inverter and does not hold G98 or G99 approval.
