Description
xVictron Digital Multi Control 200/200A
The Victron Digital Multi Control 200/200A is a remote control panel for Victron MultiPlus and Quattro inverter/chargers. It gives installers and system operators a dedicated, panel-mounted interface for adjusting shore power input current limits and switching the inverter/charger between operating modes, without needing access to the unit itself.
Key Features
- Adjustable shore power input current limit, allowing the system to share available shore power between charging and AC loads.
- Rotary control knob for setting the input current limit across the full 200A range.
- Mode selector for switching the MultiPlus or Quattro between On, Off and Charger-Only modes.
- Compatible with the full range of Victron MultiPlus and Quattro inverter/charger models that support a remote control panel connection.
- Compact, panel-mount design suitable for installation in a switchboard, control cabinet or helm panel.
- Connects via the RJ45 remote panel port on compatible Victron inverter/chargers.
- SKU: REC020005010 | GTIN: 8719076024354
Product Overview
The Digital Multi Control 200/200A connects directly to the remote panel port of a compatible Victron MultiPlus or Quattro inverter/charger using a standard RJ45 cable. Once connected, it provides local control over two of the most frequently adjusted parameters in a managed AC system: the shore or generator input current limit, and the operating mode of the inverter/charger.
The input current limit function is particularly useful in marine, motorhome and off-grid cabin installations where the available shore power supply is limited or variable. By dialling down the input current limit, the system prevents the shore supply from being overloaded while still allowing the inverter/charger to pass through AC power and charge the battery bank. The rotary knob provides a straightforward, physical control that does not require a laptop, phone or VE.Bus connection to operate.
The panel is designed for fixed installation and is not a handheld device. It is intended to be mounted in a location accessible to the operator, such as a distribution board, control panel or helm station, while the inverter/charger itself may be installed in a less accessible compartment.

- Off-grid cabins and lodges with generator input, where the generator's output capacity needs to be matched to the charger's input limit.
- Commercial and industrial off-grid systems where the inverter/charger is installed in a remote enclosure and local mode switching is required.
- Any MultiPlus or Quattro installation where the operator needs panel-level control without accessing the inverter/charger directly.
What Is Included
- 1 x Victron Digital Multi Control 200/200A panel
Installation Notes
The Digital Multi Control 200/200A should be installed by a qualified electrician or accredited installer familiar with Victron VE.Bus systems. The panel connects to the inverter/charger via the RJ45 remote panel port; verify compatibility with your specific MultiPlus or Quattro model before installation. In grid-connected installations, the inverter/charger itself must comply with G98 or G99 requirements as applicable. The control panel does not alter the compliance status of the inverter/charger but should be installed in accordance with the system documentation and any relevant wiring regulations.
