Description
xCyrix-Li-load 24/48V-120A Intelligent Load Relay
The Cyrix-Li-load is a microprocessor-controlled load relay designed for lithium battery systems operating at 24V or 48V. It disconnects non-essential loads when the battery reaches a low-voltage threshold, protecting the battery from deep discharge. Rated at 120A continuous, it suits a wide range of off-grid and marine DC load circuits.
Key Features
- Rated at 120A continuous current, suitable for substantial DC load circuits at 24V or 48V.
- Microprocessor-controlled switching logic monitors battery voltage and disconnects loads at a programmable low-voltage threshold.
- Designed specifically for lithium battery chemistries, where accurate low-voltage disconnect is critical to cell longevity.
- Automatic reconnection when battery voltage recovers to the set reconnect threshold, requiring no manual intervention.
- Compact and lightweight at 0.12 kg, allowing installation in tight battery enclosures or distribution panels.
- Compatible with 24V and 48V DC systems, covering a broad range of off-grid, marine and vehicle installations.
Product Overview
The Cyrix-Li-load operates by continuously monitoring the battery terminal voltage. When voltage drops to the low-voltage disconnect threshold, the relay opens and isolates the connected loads from the battery. This prevents the battery from being discharged beyond safe limits, which is particularly important for lithium chemistries where over-discharge can cause permanent cell damage or trigger battery management system shutdowns.
Unlike a simple fuse or manual isolator, the Cyrix-Li-load responds automatically to battery state without any user input. When the battery recovers, the relay closes again and restores power to the loads. This makes it well suited to unattended installations where manual intervention is not practical, such as remote off-grid cabins, liveaboard vessels or vehicle auxiliary systems.
The 24/48V dual-voltage compatibility means a single unit covers both common off-grid system voltages. At 120A, it handles high-current load circuits including inverters, pumps and lighting banks without requiring an additional contactor or relay.

Installation Notes
Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician or experienced systems integrator familiar with DC battery systems. Ensure the unit is correctly rated for the total connected load current and that appropriate fusing is installed on all battery connections. The Cyrix-Li-load is intended for lithium battery systems; verify compatibility with your battery management system before installation. For marine installations, follow applicable NMEA and flag-state wiring standards.
