- Compact and lightweight at 0.389 kg, suitable for panel mounting in enclosures and distribution boards.
- Victron part number VBB125021220 for straightforward ordering and compatibility verification.
Product Overview
Busbars are a fundamental component in any well-organised DC distribution system. Rather than daisy-chaining cables between components, a busbar provides a single, low-resistance common point where multiple conductors can be connected cleanly and securely. This is particularly important in battery-based systems where current paths need to be kept short and terminations need to be mechanically secure.
The 2-pole configuration means both the positive and negative rails are handled by one unit, which reduces the number of separate components required and keeps the installation tidy. At 250A, this busbar is rated for use with substantial inverter and battery setups, including Victron MultiPlus and Quattro installations where multiple battery cables, fuse holders, and DC loads may all need a common connection point.
The included cover is an important safety feature. It prevents accidental short circuits and protects against inadvertent contact with energised conductors during and after installation. The 12 screws provide sufficient termination points for most professional distribution panel layouts.

Installation Notes
This busbar should be installed by a qualified electrician familiar with DC distribution systems. Ensure all connections are torqued to the manufacturer's specification and that cables are correctly rated for the current they will carry. The protective cover must be fitted after wiring is complete. For installations forming part of a grid-connected solar system, all work should comply with current UK wiring regulations and be carried out by a suitably qualified installer.
