Description
xVictron Energy Busbar 150A 6P with Cover — VBB115060020
The Victron Energy 150A 6-position busbar with cover is a DC distribution component for use in battery banks, inverter installations and off-grid power systems. It provides a single, organised connection point for multiple circuits up to 150A continuous, reducing cable clutter and improving installation safety. Suited to professional installers working on marine, vehicle, off-grid and industrial DC systems.
Key Features
- 150A continuous current rating suitable for high-load DC distribution applications.
- 6 connection positions allow multiple circuits to be terminated at a single point.
- Protective cover included, reducing the risk of accidental short circuits and contact with live terminals.
- Compact and lightweight at 0.26 kg, making it practical for panel mounting in confined enclosures.
- Compatible with Victron Energy battery systems, inverter/chargers and DC distribution boards.
- SKU VBB115060020, GTIN 8719076052203 for straightforward procurement and stock management.
Product Overview
A busbar simplifies DC wiring by consolidating multiple cable terminations onto a single conductive bar. Rather than daisy-chaining connections or using multiple individual terminals, a busbar distributes current evenly across all connected circuits. The 150A rating on this unit means it can handle the combined load of several circuits simultaneously without thermal stress on the connections, provided the total draw does not exceed the rated current.
The 6-position layout gives installers enough terminals for a typical battery bank or inverter distribution setup, covering loads such as inverters, charge controllers, DC fuse boxes and auxiliary circuits. The included cover is a practical safety feature: it fits over the live terminals to prevent accidental contact and reduce the risk of short circuits caused by stray tools or cables during and after installation. This is particularly relevant in marine and vehicle installations where vibration and movement are factors.

Installation Notes
This busbar should be installed by a qualified electrician or experienced DC systems installer. Ensure all circuits connected to the busbar are individually fused or protected as close to the source as practicable. Verify that the combined current draw of all connected circuits does not exceed the 150A rated capacity of the busbar. For battery and inverter installations, disconnect all power sources before making or modifying connections. In marine applications, follow the relevant BMEA or IEC wiring standards for DC distribution.
