Description
xVictron Energy Busbar 150A 4-Pole with Cover — VBB115040020
The Victron Energy 150A 4-pole busbar is a compact distribution component for DC power systems. It provides a single, secure connection point for distributing current across up to four circuits, and is supplied with a protective cover. Suited to battery banks, inverter installations and off-grid DC distribution boards where a tidy, rated connection point is required.
Key Features
- Rated at 150A continuous DC current, suitable for high-current battery and inverter distribution applications.
- 4-pole design accommodates up to four separate circuit connections from a single busbar.
- Supplied with a protective cover to guard against accidental contact and short circuits.
- Compact and lightweight at 0.17 kg, making it straightforward to mount within enclosures or distribution panels.
- Victron Energy component, designed to integrate with Victron system builds and third-party DC installations alike.
- GTIN: 8719076052197 — genuine Victron part, traceable and verifiable.
Product Overview
A busbar simplifies DC distribution by replacing multiple point-to-point cable runs with a single, rated connection rail. In a 4-pole configuration, one input (typically from a battery or main fuse) feeds up to four output circuits, each independently connected. This reduces wiring complexity and the number of terminals required at the battery or inverter.
The 150A rating means this busbar is appropriate for systems drawing significant continuous current, such as those built around Victron MultiPlus or Quattro inverter-chargers, or multi-battery bank setups. The included cover is not cosmetic: it reduces the risk of accidental short circuits during installation and in service, which is a genuine safety consideration in any live DC panel.
At 0.17 kg, this is a small but functional component. It is best mounted inside a suitable enclosure or distribution board rather than left exposed.

Installation Notes
This busbar should be installed by a qualified electrician or experienced system integrator. Ensure the busbar is correctly rated for the total current of all connected circuits combined, not just individual loads. Mount within a suitable enclosure to maintain the protection offered by the cover. Always isolate the battery or power source before making connections. For installations forming part of a grid-connected or solar PV system, work should be carried out by a qualified installer in accordance with BS 7671 and any applicable G98 or G99 requirements.
