xBusbar 150A 2-Pole with 10 Screws and Cover — VBB115021020
The Victron Energy Busbar 150A 2-Pole is a dual-pole distribution busbar rated at 150A, supplied with 10 screws and a protective cover. It is designed for use in DC distribution systems, battery banks, inverter installations and off-grid panels where multiple circuits need to be connected to a common positive or negative rail.
Key Features
- Rated at 150A continuous current, suitable for high-load DC distribution applications.
- 2-pole configuration allows simultaneous positive and negative rail distribution from a single component.
- Supplied with 10 screws for securing cable lugs and connections directly to the busbar.
- Protective cover included to guard against accidental contact with live conductors.
- Compact and lightweight at 148g, suitable for installation in enclosures, panels and battery cabinets.
- Compatible with Victron Energy system components including inverters, charge controllers and battery management systems.
Product Overview
A busbar provides a low-resistance, high-current connection point where multiple cables can be terminated to a single rail. In DC systems, this is essential for distributing power from a battery bank to multiple loads or charge sources without creating a tangle of point-to-point wiring. The 150A rating on this unit makes it appropriate for systems running substantial loads, such as those built around Victron Multiplus or Quattro inverters.
The 2-pole design means both the positive and negative rails are handled by a single component, which simplifies installation and keeps the wiring layout tidy. The included cover is an important safety feature: it prevents accidental short circuits and reduces the risk of contact with energised conductors during and after installation. The 10 screws provided are sufficient to connect multiple cable runs without needing additional hardware for a standard installation.

Installation Notes
This busbar should be installed by a qualified electrician or experienced installer familiar with DC distribution systems. Ensure all connections are torqued correctly and that the protective cover is fitted before the system is energised. For solar PV and battery installations, always follow relevant wiring regulations including BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations) and any applicable system-specific requirements. Disconnect all power sources before working on the busbar or any connected circuits.
