Description
xBusbar 150A 2-Pole with 20 Screws and Cover — VBB115022020
The Victron Energy Busbar 150A 2-Pole is a dual-rail distribution busbar rated at 150A, supplied with 20 screws and a protective cover. It is designed for use in DC distribution systems, battery banks, inverter installations and off-grid panels where multiple circuits need to be connected to a common positive and negative rail.
Key Features
- 150A continuous current rating suitable for high-current DC distribution applications.
- 2-pole design provides both positive and negative rails in a single unit, keeping wiring neat and organised.
- Supplied with 20 screws, giving sufficient terminals for multiple circuit connections without additional hardware.
- Protective cover included to guard against accidental contact with live conductors.
- Compact and lightweight at 212g, suitable for installation in enclosures, panels and battery compartments.
- Compatible with Victron Energy system components including inverters, charge controllers and battery management systems.
Product Overview
A busbar provides a central connection point for multiple cables within a DC distribution system. Rather than daisy-chaining connections or relying on individual terminal blocks, a busbar allows each circuit to connect directly to a common rail, reducing voltage drop and simplifying fault-finding. The 150A rating on this unit makes it appropriate for systems where the aggregate load across all connected circuits does not exceed that threshold.
The 2-pole configuration means both the positive and negative busbars are housed together, which is practical for installations where space is limited and a tidy, paired layout is preferred. The included protective cover is an important safety feature: it reduces the risk of accidental short circuits caused by tools or loose conductors contacting the live rails during or after installation.
With 20 screws included, this busbar can accommodate a significant number of individual circuit connections. This makes it well suited to battery banks with multiple parallel strings, inverter DC inputs, fuse holders and other distribution components that all require a common connection point.

Installation Notes
This busbar should be installed by a qualified electrician familiar with DC distribution systems. Ensure the total connected load does not exceed the 150A rating of the busbar. All connections must be torqued correctly to the screw specification to avoid high-resistance joints. The protective cover must be fitted after wiring is complete. For solar PV and battery storage installations, a qualified or MCS-accredited installer is recommended.
