Description
xVictron Blue Smart IP65 Charger 12V 25A (1 Output) 230V CEE 7/16
The Victron Blue Smart IP65 12/25 is a single-output, 25-amp battery charger for 12V systems, built to IP65 standard for use in damp or dusty environments. It connects via a CEE 7/16 (Europlug) mains plug and is suited to professional installers, vehicle converters and off-grid system builders who need a reliable, Bluetooth-enabled charger for lead-acid or lithium batteries.
Key Features
- IP65-rated enclosure: protected against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets, suitable for engine bays, vans and outdoor enclosures.
- Bluetooth built-in: monitor and adjust charge settings wirelessly via the VictronConnect app on iOS or Android, no dongle required.
- 25A charge current on a single output, capable of charging batteries up to approximately 250Ah efficiently.
- Compatible with multiple battery chemistries: AGM, Gel, flooded lead-acid, and lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) with selectable charge profiles.
- Seven-stage adaptive charging algorithm: bulk, absorption, float, storage, equalisation and recondition modes extend battery service life.
- Temperature-compensated charging via optional sensor input, preventing over or undercharge in varying ambient conditions.
- Mains input via CEE 7/16 Europlug (230V AC), with DC output via integrated connector for direct battery connection.
- SKU: BPC122535034 | Weight: 2.2 kg | GTIN: 8719076072812
Product Overview
The Blue Smart IP65 range uses an adaptive charging algorithm that adjusts absorption time based on actual battery condition rather than a fixed timer. This matters in practice because batteries that are only partially discharged receive a shorter absorption phase, reducing heat stress and extending cycle life. Batteries that are deeply discharged receive the full treatment, including a recondition phase if required.
The IP65 rating makes this charger genuinely usable in locations where a standard charger would be at risk: under bonnets, in wet lockers on boats, in outdoor battery enclosures, or in workshop environments with airborne dust and moisture. The integrated DC connector keeps the installation tidy and avoids exposed terminals.
VictronConnect gives full visibility of charge state, voltage, current and historical data. Charge profiles can be adjusted remotely, which is useful when managing multiple vehicles or installations from a single device. The charger also supports a storage mode that maintains batteries at an optimal voltage during long periods of inactivity.

Installation Notes
This charger should be installed by a qualified electrician or competent person familiar with 12V DC battery systems. Ensure the DC output connector is correctly matched to the battery terminal configuration before use. When installing in enclosed spaces such as engine bays, verify adequate ventilation for the battery being charged. LiFePO4 battery profiles must be selected correctly in VictronConnect before charging lithium batteries. The CEE 7/16 plug is a standard Europlug and is not suitable for direct use with UK three-pin sockets without an appropriate adaptor.
