Description
xVictron Energy ANL Fuse 400A/80V (Pack of 5)
The Victron Energy ANL fuse 400A/80V is a high-current DC protection fuse designed for use in battery systems, inverter installations and other high-amperage DC circuits. Sold in a pack of five, it is suited to installers and system integrators who need reliable overcurrent protection across multiple installations.
Key Features
- 400A current rating provides overcurrent protection for high-capacity DC circuits.
- 80V DC voltage rating is compatible with 12V, 24V and 48V battery systems.
- ANL form factor fits standard ANL fuseholders, including Victron's own range.
- Pack of 5 fuses, suitable for stocking or multi-system installations.
- Designed to protect wiring and equipment from fault currents in inverter and battery bank applications.
Product Overview
ANL fuses are a standard choice for DC overcurrent protection in battery-based systems. The blade-style ANL format allows for straightforward replacement and provides a visible, auditable point of protection in the DC circuit. At 400A, this fuse is appropriate for large inverter installations, battery banks and high-current DC distribution where cable and equipment protection is required.
The 80V voltage rating covers the full range of common battery system voltages, including 48V nominal systems which may reach higher voltages under charge. This fuse is compatible with Victron ANL fuseholders and other standard ANL holders available in the market. Buying in a pack of five reduces per-unit cost and ensures spares are on hand for commissioning or future servicing.

Installation Notes
ANL fuses should be installed by a qualified electrician or experienced system integrator familiar with high-current DC installations. Ensure the fuseholder is rated to match the fuse current and voltage before installation. Disconnect all power sources before replacing a fuse. In battery systems, take care to isolate the battery bank fully, as DC fault currents can be extremely high and present a serious risk of arc flash or fire if handled incorrectly.
