Description
xVE.Direct Cable 0.3m (One Side Right Angle Connector)
A short VE.Direct cable for connecting Victron Energy devices in space-constrained installations. One end features a right angle connector, allowing the cable to exit the port at 90 degrees rather than straight out. Suited to professional installers working in enclosures, panels or mounting arrangements where cable routing clearance is limited.
Key Features
- 0.3m cable length, designed for short-run connections between adjacent Victron devices.
- One right angle connector allows the cable to exit the device port at 90 degrees, reducing the depth required behind the unit.
- Standard straight connector on the opposite end for conventional port entry.
- Uses the VE.Direct proprietary interface, compatible with Victron devices that carry a VE.Direct port.
- Lightweight at 15g, with no additional bulk in tight wiring runs.
- SKU: ASS030531203 | GTIN: 8719076019657
Product Overview
VE.Direct is Victron's point-to-point serial communication protocol, used to transfer data between compatible devices such as MPPT solar charge controllers, BMV battery monitors, Phoenix inverters and colour control displays. This 0.3m cable is the shortest in the VE.Direct cable range, intended for installations where two devices are mounted directly alongside each other and a longer cable would create unnecessary slack.
The right angle connector on one end is particularly useful when a device is mounted flush against a wall, inside a cabinet, or in a DIN rail enclosure where a straight-exit cable would either not fit or would place stress on the port. The 90-degree exit keeps the cable profile low and avoids bending strain at the connector body.
Specifications
- Cable length: 0.3m
- Connector type: VE.Direct (one straight, one right angle)
- Weight: 0.015kg (15g)
- SKU: ASS030531203

Applications
- Connecting a Victron MPPT charge controller to a Cerbo GX or Colour Control GX mounted in the same enclosure.
- Linking a BMV battery monitor to a display unit or GX device in a compact panel build.
- Short-run data connections in van conversions, narrowboats and marine installations where space behind devices is restricted.
- Any VE.Direct installation where the device is wall- or cabinet-mounted and a straight connector would protrude into restricted clearance.
What Is Included
- 1x VE.Direct cable, 0.3m, with one right angle connector and one straight connector
Installation Notes
Ensure both devices are powered down before connecting or disconnecting VE.Direct cables. This cable is for data communication only and does not carry power to connected devices. Confirm that both devices in the connection carry a VE.Direct port before purchase, as the interface is not interchangeable with other Victron communication protocols such as VE.Bus or VE.Can.
