Product Overview
The Solis S5-EH1P6K-L operates as a grid-tie inverter for self-consumption, directing solar energy first to household loads, then to battery storage, then to grid export. When the grid fails, the inverter switches to backup mode within 20ms, supplying up to 5kW from the battery and solar array to critical loads. A changeover switch is required for the backup output circuit.
The intelligent EMS monitors real-time electricity prices and solar output to determine the optimum energy flow between all sources and loads. The 24-hour management function continuously tracks PV system status and can respond automatically to time-of-use tariff signals.
Wi-Fi monitoring is built in, providing access to live generation, consumption, and battery state data via the Solis app without a separate data logger.
