Description
xSolis 5kW Hybrid Solar Inverter S6-EH1P5K-L-PLUS – Wi-Fi and Energy Meter Included
The Solis S6-EH1P5K-L-PLUS is a 5kW single-phase hybrid inverter for residential solar and battery storage systems. It supports 32A MPPT input current, making it compatible with current high-output solar modules. G98 and G99 compliant and MCS certified for UK grid connection. Wi-Fi dongle and energy meter are included as standard.
The new model replaces the well-known S5 5kW, which is now upgraded with new communication and power terminals for safer, faster and more reliable operation. The housing and the die-cast aluminium case is improved while there are new features in the menu, including the supply of heat pumps and other special loads.
For your convinience and lowering the cost we added the WiFi and energy meter so you do not need to spend extra.

Product Overview
The 6-stage timed charge and discharge function allows the battery to charge overnight from the grid at lower tariff rates, then discharge during peak hours. The AC timer works alongside time-of-use tariffs such as Octopus Agile or Economy 7 without requiring manual intervention.
The backup switching time of under 4ms keeps computers, NAS devices and sensitive equipment running through a grid outage without interruption. The dual backup ports allow critical loads to be separated from non-essential circuits so that battery capacity is used where it matters most.
Applications
- Residential solar PV and battery storage
- Time-of-use tariff optimisation
- UPS-grade backup for sensitive equipment
- Self-consumption and export control
- Properties with generator backup
