Product Overview
The Solis S5-GR1P1K is engineered to make small solar installations viable. Its 60V start-up voltage means the inverter begins operating at very low irradiance levels, capturing energy from the first and last usable light of the day and on overcast days when a higher start-up threshold inverter would remain inactive.
The dynamic MPPT tracker continuously identifies and follows the maximum power point of the connected panels, achieving over 99% MPP output under virtually all conditions regardless of panel make, cell count, or configuration. A wide current input range from 0 to 8A makes the inverter compatible with the latest high-power panel designs.
Anti-islanding protection (QNS) is included as standard, ensuring the inverter disconnects automatically from the grid if the supply is interrupted, in compliance with grid connection requirements.

Installation and Safety Notes
Must be installed by a qualified electrician or MCS-accredited solar installer. Grid-connected inverters in the UK require G98 notification or G99 application to the DNO before connection. All DC isolators, AC protection devices, and earthing must comply with BS 7671 and applicable MCS standards. Do not attempt DIY connection of grid-tied equipment.
