Product Overview
The Solis RHI-3P10K-HVES-5G brings electric vehicle battery architecture principles to commercial solar energy storage. By operating the battery bank at 500-600V DC rather than the conventional 48V, current levels throughout the battery circuit are dramatically lower. This reduces thermal losses, allows lighter cabling, and enables fanless inverter operation at the battery interface because heat generation is significantly reduced at lower current.
The intelligent EMS manages energy flows across all sources and loads, supporting time-of-use tariff optimisation and grid peak shaving. When grid energy is at its most expensive, the system draws from the battery; when grid rates are low, it can charge the battery from the grid. This makes the system particularly well suited to commercial customers on time-of-use tariffs.
The 40ms automatic source switching time ensures critical loads experience minimal interruption when the system transitions between grid, solar, and battery supply.

Installation and Safety Notes
Must be designed and installed by a qualified electrician or MCS-accredited solar installer. High-voltage battery systems carry additional safety risks and must comply with BS EN 62619, IEC 62619, and all applicable local regulations. Three-phase grid connection requires G99 application and DNO approval. High-voltage DC cabling, isolators, and protection devices must be rated for the battery system voltage. Do not attempt DIY installation.
