Description
xSolis 5G Pro 100kW Three-Phase Grid-Tied Solar Inverter (Solis-100K-5G-PRO)
The Solis 5G Pro 100kW is a transformerless three-phase grid-tied inverter for commercial and industrial solar installations. At 98.7% maximum efficiency with 6 or 8 MPPT trackers, 36A string input current and a DC/AC ratio above 150%, it is built for high-density PV arrays with complex layouts and high-output modules.
Key Features
- 100kW rated output, peak 110kVA
- Maximum efficiency 98.7%, EU efficiency 98.3%
- 6 or 8 MPPT trackers with up to 16 string inputs
- 36A maximum DC input current per string
- DC/AC ratio above 150% for high-density array design
- Night SVG: reactive power compensation available at night
- AFCI arc fault protection (optional)
- PID recovery function (optional)
- Intelligent redundant fan cooling
- IP66 rated enclosure
- SolisCloud monitoring with Wi-Fi and LAN
Product Overview
The 36A string input current means this inverter is compatible with the latest high-output bifacial modules, which commonly deliver string currents above 20A under real-world conditions. The 150% DC overloading capability allows a larger PV array to be connected relative to the inverter AC rating, which improves capacity factor and reduces the cost per kWh generated.
The Night SVG function allows the inverter to provide reactive power compensation to the grid even when there is no solar generation, which is useful on sites with grid operator power factor requirements.
Applications
- Large commercial and industrial rooftop solar systems
- Ground-mounted solar farms and utility-scale arrays
- Installations with high-output bifacial modules
- Sites with grid reactive power compensation requirements
Installation Notes
Grid connection at this power level requires G99 compliance and formal DNO application in the UK. Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrical engineer with commercial solar experience. String design, PV array layout and protection coordination must be completed before commissioning.
