Product Overview
Z brackets are one of the most common methods for fixing solar panels to flat surfaces, vehicle roofs, boat decks, and walls where standard rail systems are not practical. Each bracket attaches to the solar panel frame via a self-tapping screw through the pre-drilled hole in the Z tab, and to the mounting surface via a bolt through the base of the bracket.
The Z profile sits flush against the vertical face of the panel frame, providing a secure hold without needing to clamp over the top of the glass. The 2mm aluminium body keeps weight low while the fully stainless steel hardware ensures long-term corrosion resistance in outdoor and marine environments.
