Description
xRail Connector 140mm for Solar Panel Mounting Rails
A 140mm aluminium rail connector for joining standard 1.2m mounting rails end-to-end. Allows installers to build longer, fully customisable PV mounting runs without the need for specialist rail-cutting equipment.
Key Features
- Joins two 1.2m aluminium mounting rails into a continuous run
- 140mm connector length for a strong, stable overlap joint
- Compatible with standard aluminium PV mounting rail systems
- No specialist cutting tools required
- Enables flexible, scalable array layouts on any roof type
- Sold per unit
Product Overview
The 140mm rail connector is a straightforward but essential component for any larger solar array where standard 1.2m rail lengths need to be extended. By sliding the connector into the open ends of two adjacent rails, the installer can create a seamless continuous rail of any required length without cutting or specialist tooling.
This flexibility is particularly useful on wide roof spans, commercial flat roof installations, and any layout where the module row extends beyond a single 1.2m rail. Multiple connectors can be used across the same rail run as needed.

Installation and Safety Notes
PV mounting systems should be designed and installed by a qualified solar installer. Ensure rail connectors are correctly positioned and secured before loading panels onto the rail. Check that the complete rail assembly meets the wind and load requirements for your site.
