Description
xAdjustable Triangle Solar Panel Mounting | Flat Roofs and Ground | 10 to 35 Degrees
A pure aluminium and stainless steel adjustable triangle mounting system for solar panels on flat roofs and ground installations. The back pillar adjusts to set the inclination angle anywhere between 10 and 35 degrees, allowing the system to be optimised for any UK or European latitude. Compatible with panels from 200W to over 600W. No foundation required for ground installations. Available from 1 to 20 modules per order.
Key Features
- Adjustable inclination: 10 to 35 degrees set on site
- Pure aluminium frame with stainless steel fixings throughout
- Compatible with all panels from 200W to 600W-plus including full-size 2.2m modules
- No foundation required: solid concrete ballast blocks are adequate
- Adjustable angle allows seasonal repositioning for up to 20% additional energy yield
- Row spacing can be optimised on site to eliminate inter-row shading
- Suitable for flat roofs and open ground
Product Overview
Adjustable triangle mountings solve two of the most common challenges on flat roofs and ground arrays: inter-row shading and seasonal performance loss. Because the inclination angle can be set between 10 and 35 degrees, the installer can choose the optimum angle for the site latitude and row spacing, ensuring each row avoids casting shadow on the row behind even at low winter sun angles.
For customers who want to maximise annual yield, the angle can also be adjusted three or four times per year to track the seasonal change in sun elevation, which can increase energy output by up to 20% compared to a fixed-angle installation.
For ground installations, no concrete foundation is required. Solid concrete blocks placed under the frame feet provide adequate ballast. Strong wall plugs and screws are used to secure the frame feet to the blocks.

Applications
- Flat roof solar PV arrays on residential, commercial, and industrial buildings
- Ground-mounted solar installations on open land, car parks, and agricultural sites
- Sites requiring seasonal angle adjustment for maximum energy yield
- Large arrays requiring careful inter-row shadow management
Installation and Safety Notes
Must be designed and installed by a qualified solar installer. For flat roof installations, confirm roof load capacity for the combined weight of frames, ballast, and panels. For ground installations, concrete ballast blocks are not included and must be sourced separately. Row spacing and inclination angle must be calculated for the specific site latitude and wind zone before installation.
