Product Overview
The JAM54D41-465/LR is a full black monofacial panel. The all-black frame, backsheet and cell appearance suits visible rooftop installations where aesthetics matter. The dual glass construction replaces the conventional plastic backsheet with a second glass layer, which resists moisture ingress, UV degradation and mechanical stress better over a long service life.
N-type cell technology gives lower long-term power degradation compared with older P-type monocrystalline panels. Over 30 years, the panel is rated to lose approximately 0.4% output per year after the first year, which is lower than standard monocrystalline panels of the same era.
Stäubli MC4-EVO2 connectors are factory fitted. These are a higher-specification connector than standard MC4, with a more secure locking mechanism and better resistance to vibration and water ingress.
Applications
- Residential rooftop solar systems
- Commercial rooftop solar installations
- Hybrid inverter and battery storage systems
- Off-grid solar power systems
- Projects requiring all-black panels for visible roof areas

Installation Notes
Installation must be carried out by a qualified MCS-accredited solar installer. String voltage must be calculated to confirm it does not exceed the inverter maximum input voltage under cold conditions. The 1500V system voltage rating gives flexibility for larger string designs but requires careful calculation. Maximum series fuse rating is 30A.
