Description
xGX Touch 50 Adapter for CCGX Cut-Out
The GX Touch 50 adapter for CCGX cut-out is a mounting adapter plate that allows a Victron GX Touch 50 display to be fitted into an existing panel cut-out originally sized for the Color Control GX (CCGX). It is intended for installers upgrading or replacing a CCGX with a GX Touch 50 without needing to modify the enclosure or panel.
Key Features
- Bridges the dimensional difference between the CCGX panel cut-out and the GX Touch 50 display, allowing a direct retrofit fit.
- Eliminates the need to cut, modify or replace the existing enclosure when upgrading from a CCGX to a GX Touch 50.
- Lightweight construction at 0.14 kg, adding minimal bulk to the installation.
- SKU BPP900460050, GTIN 8719076053668, supplied by Victron Energy.
- Designed specifically for use with the Victron GX Touch 50 and CCGX panel cut-out dimensions.
Product Overview
When upgrading a Victron system from a Color Control GX to a GX Touch 50, the two units have different panel cut-out dimensions. Without an adapter, the installer would need to enlarge or rework the existing cut-out in the enclosure or switchboard panel. This adapter plate resolves that by providing a correctly dimensioned frame that accepts the GX Touch 50 while filling the original CCGX aperture.
The adapter is a straightforward mechanical component with no electrical connections of its own. Its value is entirely practical: it saves installation time and avoids cosmetic or structural damage to existing enclosures. For installers managing fleet upgrades or servicing older Victron installations, it removes a common obstacle when modernising the monitoring display.
