Description
xEPEVER Tracer 5415AN 50A MPPT Solar Charge Controller – 150V, 12/24/36/48V
The EPEVER Tracer 5415AN is a 50A MPPT solar charge controller designed for off-grid solar battery systems. It automatically detects and works with 12V, 24V, 36V, and 48V battery banks and uses advanced MPPT tracking to maximise solar energy harvest throughout the day. Compatible with the MT50 remote display and PC monitoring software via RS485.
Key Features
- 50A maximum charging current
- 150V maximum PV open circuit voltage
- Auto battery voltage detection: 12V, 24V, 36V, 48V
- Advanced MPPT algorithm for maximum solar harvest
- Compatible with sealed, vented, GEL, and lithium batteries
- RS485 communication port for PC monitoring and MT50 remote display
- Backlit LCD display with real-time data
- Multiple load control modes
- Temperature compensation for accurate battery charging
- Over-voltage, over-current, short circuit, and reverse polarity protection
Product Overview
MPPT technology allows the charge controller to track the maximum power point of the connected solar array continuously, extracting more energy from the panels than a conventional PWM controller. This is particularly effective in low-light conditions and when panel temperature reduces the operating voltage.
The 5415AN is compatible with the optional MT50 remote metre for monitoring battery status, PV power, and system parameters from a separate location. RS485 communication allows the controller to be connected to a PC running EPEVER's PC monitoring software for data logging and configuration.
Applications
- Off-grid residential and rural solar power systems
- Remote cabins, agricultural, and industrial off-grid installations
- 12V, 24V, 36V, and 48V battery bank charging
Installation and Safety Notes
Install in a well-ventilated location away from flammable materials. All wiring must comply with IET Wiring Regulations. Battery connections must be made with correct polarity. Do not exceed the rated maximum PV input voltage of 150V or the maximum charge current of 50A.
