Description
xConversol MAX-III 11kW Off-Grid Hybrid Inverter – Dual AC In/Out, 48V
The Conversol MAX-III 11kW is a third-generation 48V single-phase hybrid inverter for off-grid and grid-support systems. It delivers 230V pure sine wave output, accepts up to 12kW of solar PV input, and manages energy automatically across solar, grid and battery sources. Dual AC input and dual AC output allow critical and non-critical loads to be separated. Integrated AC and DC breakers and a PV disconnect are included as standard.
Key Features
- 11kW continuous AC output, 230V pure sine wave
- 48V battery input, compatible with lithium and lead-acid battery types
- Up to 12kW solar PV input
- Dual AC input: grid and generator supported
- Dual AC output for critical and non-critical load separation
- Built-in CT sensor for self-consumption priority mode
- Grid-support function for sites with limited grid capacity
- 12 user-configurable settings on a single screen with LED status indicators
- Sliding front cover for fast terminal access without tools
- Integrated AC breaker, DC breaker and PV DC disconnect
- Reinforced wall-mount bracket included
- Parallel operation: up to 6 units
- 2-year warranty
Product Overview
The sliding front cover is a practical installation detail. It gives full access to all DC and AC terminals without tools, which speeds up both initial wiring and any future maintenance or fault finding. The terminal layout is clearly labelled, which reduces wiring errors on site.
The CT sensor allows the inverter to monitor grid import and export in real time, then adjust battery charging and discharging to prioritise self-consumption before drawing from the grid. The grid-support function allows the inverter to supplement limited grid supply during peak load periods without requiring a utility upgrade.
Dual AC output means Output 1 stays live at all times while Output 2 can be managed separately for non-essential loads, which is useful for controlling high-consumption appliances like water heaters or EV chargers independently from the critical supply circuit.
Applications
- Off-grid homes, farms and remote buildings
- Grid-support systems on sites with limited import capacity
- Hybrid systems with solar, battery and grid or generator backup
- Sites requiring dual AC output for load management
- Large parallel installations up to 6 units combined
Installation Notes
Installation must be carried out by a qualified installer. Configure battery type and charging parameters before commissioning. For grid-connected use, comply with G98 or G99 regulations (UK). All DC wiring, fusing and earthing must meet current wiring regulations.
