Description
xConversol 1200W Off-Grid Solar Inverter 12V Dual MPPT 230V Pure Sine Wave
The Conversol 1.5kVA Duo MPPT is a compact off-grid inverter and charger designed for small 12V battery systems. Featuring two independent MPPT solar chargers in a single unit, a 230V pure sine wave output, and a lightweight chassis weighing just 7kg, it is an ideal choice for boats, motorhomes, small cabins, and compact off-grid installations where a 12V system is in use.
Key Features
- 1500VA/1200W continuous output, 3000VA surge capacity
- 12V battery input with dual independent MPPT solar chargers
- Up to 1000W solar input, MPPT range 15V to 80VDC
- Maximum PV open circuit voltage 100VDC
- 40A solar charge current, 100A combined maximum charge
- Pure sine wave 230V output
- Compact and lightweight: 7kg, 100 x 272 x 355mm
- Wide operating temperature range: -20°C to 55°C
Product Overview
The Duo MPPT designation reflects the presence of two independent MPPT solar charge controllers within the unit, allowing two separate PV strings or panels to be managed independently for maximum energy harvest. This is particularly useful on boats or vehicles where panels may be mounted at different angles or orientations.
Operating on a 12V battery platform, the unit is compatible with standard lead-acid and sealed battery banks commonly found in marine, caravan, and small off-grid applications. The pure sine wave output ensures compatibility with all loads, including sensitive electronics and motors.
Applications
- Boats and marine off-grid power systems
- Motorhomes, caravans, and campervans
- Small off-grid cabins and lodges
- Remote monitoring and communications equipment
- Lightweight backup power for 12V systems
What Is Included
- Conversol 1.5kVA Duo MPPT off-grid inverter/charger unit
- User manual
Installation and Safety Notes
Must be installed by a qualified electrician or solar installer. 12V systems carry very high currents; correct cable sizing and fusing is critical to prevent fire risk. Do not exceed the maximum PV open circuit voltage of 100VDC. Ensure battery charge settings are correctly configured for the battery chemistry in use. Comply with all applicable electrical safety regulations.
