Description
xAdapter Cord 16A/250V CEE Plug to Schuko Coupling
This adapter cord converts a CEE 16A/250V shore power plug to a Schuko (Type F) coupling, allowing connection between CEE shore power sources and Schuko-terminated equipment or inlets. It is suited to marine, motorhome and off-grid installations where mixed connector standards are in use.
Key Features
- Rated at 16A and 250V AC for standard single-phase shore power applications.
- CEE plug (IEC 60309 blue, 2P+E) on one end for connection to shore power pedestals and campsite hookups.
- Schuko (Type F) coupling on the other end for compatibility with European domestic and marine equipment inlets.
- Compact and lightweight at 0.3 kg, suitable for storage aboard a vessel or in a vehicle.
- Victron Energy part, designed for use within Victron shore power and AC distribution systems.
Product Overview
CEE and Schuko connectors are both common in European shore power and off-grid installations, but they are not directly compatible. This adapter cord bridges the two standards, allowing a CEE 16A shore supply to feed equipment or an inlet wired with a Schuko connector. This is a practical requirement on boats, campervans and static off-grid setups where the available shore supply uses a CEE pedestal but the onboard wiring terminates in a Schuko socket.
The 16A/250V rating matches the standard single-phase shore power rating used across most European marinas, campsites and temporary site supplies. The cord is not intended for continuous high-load industrial use, but is well suited to the intermittent connection cycles typical of leisure and light commercial applications.

Installation Notes
This cord is a plug-and-use adapter and does not require hardwired installation. Ensure the shore supply is isolated before connecting or disconnecting. Verify that the supply voltage and frequency are compatible with the connected equipment before use. For permanent or semi-permanent shore power installations on vessels, connection to the onboard AC distribution system should be carried out by a qualified marine electrician or competent person familiar with the relevant wiring regulations.
