Description
xAspire NERO 11kW Solar Water Pump Inverter | MPPT 800V | 3-Phase | Batteryless
The Aspire NERO is a dedicated 11kW solar water pump inverter driver with integrated MPPT, designed to run a three-phase pump motor directly from solar panels without batteries. Suitable for irrigation, boreholes, farms, remote sites, and any application requiring dependable water pumping during daylight hours. Auxiliary AC input allows grid or generator backup when solar irradiation is insufficient.
Key Features
- Runs directly from solar panels: no battery storage required
- Integrated MPPT continuously tracks maximum available solar power
- Three-phase motor output for water pumps and irrigation systems
- Maximum DC input voltage: 800V
- Maximum PV array power: 17,600W
- Soft start reduces water hammer and mechanical stress on the pump
- Built-in protection relays and self-diagnostics
- User-friendly LCD and LED indicators with real-time system data
- RS485 port for remote monitoring
- Auxiliary AC input: accepts grid or generator supply in low-sunlight conditions
Product Overview
The Aspire NERO 11kW is engineered specifically for solar-powered water pumping, not for home energy storage or battery charging. The integrated MPPT extracts the maximum available power from the PV array at any given irradiance level and feeds it directly to the three-phase motor drive output. The inverter can begin pumping from a fraction of full solar power, making use of early morning and late afternoon light when a simpler on/off system would remain inactive.
When solar irradiation drops below the level needed to run the pump, the auxiliary AC input allows the inverter to accept power from a grid connection or diesel generator to maintain operation. The soft start function ramps motor speed gradually at start-up, reducing mechanical shock and extending pump and pipework service life.

Installation and Safety Notes
This is a solar pump inverter driver for three-phase motors, not a home energy storage or battery inverter. PV string voltage must be designed to remain within the inverter operating window under all temperature and irradiance conditions. Professional installation is required for correct wiring, system protection, and commissioning. Do not connect to a battery bank.
