Description
x8kW Off-Grid Solar Kit – 10.24kWh Pylontech US5000, 10x JA Solar 450W Panels
This complete 8kW off-grid solar kit is built around a Conversol MAX 8kW dual-MPPT inverter-charger and two Pylontech US5000 lithium batteries providing 10.24kWh of usable storage. Ten JA Solar 450W monocrystalline panels deliver 4.5kW of PV capacity, with the inverter capable of accepting up to 8kW total for future expansion. The kit includes Solar Assistant monitoring, full DC and AC protection, cabling, and BMS communication. Designed for homes, cabins, workshops, and remote buildings needing reliable off-grid power.

Product Overview
The Conversol MAX dual-MPPT design allows two independent solar string inputs. The kit supplies enough panels for one input string at 4.5kW. A second string of up to 3.5kW can be added later without changing the inverter, bringing total PV to the inverter's 8kW maximum input.
The Pylontech US5000 batteries operate at 48VDC with a 95% depth of discharge and communicate directly with the inverter via the included BMS cable. Automatic charge and discharge management requires no manual battery parameter configuration once the BMS communication is connected.
The Solar Assistant monitoring kit provides real-time and historical performance data accessible remotely via Wi-Fi at no ongoing subscription cost.
Off-grid systems of this type do not require G98 or G99 notification to the DNO as there is no grid connection or export. All electrical work must still be carried out by a qualified electrician and comply with IET Wiring Regulations.
